Tight pants, hatchbacks, and Robbie!!!

I know, I know...Twilight has completely taken over my life! I can't seem to post a blog without the mention of it. Well this one is no exception. "Twilight" the movie, has begun filming in Oregon and Washington, and though I have expressed my not so supportive views of the leading man/vampire, Robert Pattison. I am actually feeling quite sorry for the guy.

First he has to wear these tight pants...

Note to wardrobe...Edward is not EMO!!!
Oh and if you haven't read the books, the Cullens are supposed to be rich and sophisticated. They only wear designer and they most definatly wouldn't be caught dead wearing those ugly shoes!!!

And Second...he isn't even driving Edward's baby, a Volvo S60R.

But he is driving this...a volvo hatchback! WTF???
I picture grandparents with their golden retriever licking the back window, not Adonis in flesh!!!

Why can't they get one thing right? Is it too much to ask for, I mean all we want is the right car!!!

What's in a name...

Twilighters, Twi-hards, Lexiconers...?

What's all the crazy hype about? I don't think Twilight fans had any problem identifying themselves before. I personally just say I am an obsessed fan of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Series and a full fledged Edward Cullen Stalker!!!

(If only he were real...)

But seriously...do we need a pole on what we should be called? We are who we want to be. Some of us are Twilighters...okay most of us. And others want to be Twi-hards. Why put a label on us anyway? We were fine before the movie hype started. Happy and complete in ourselves.

Wow! Had to get that out of my system...

Now if you feel different than me and want your little voice to be heard, then get out there and tell them what you think. And when I say them I mean Mtv.

Here is the link http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2008/03/11/twi-hards-twilighters-or-something-else-vote-now-and-tell-us/

And if you don't care, Jared I am talking to you...cool!

Peace, Love and Twilight!
( oh and Edward!!!)
Love ya, Nahe

Twi-hard's??? OMG!!!

Twi-hard? Who came up with this sad, sad name???

I have personally never called myself a twi-hard and I don't believe I have ever heard of the nickname until this morning when I read the interview MTV did with Rachelle Lefevre.

http://www.mtv.com/movies/news/articles/1582432/20080227/story.jhtml

I know many fans of the Twilight Saga and the most popular name for us is "Twilighters" or "Lexiconers" from our most visited and most favorite Twilight site.

It's nice to see the cast is finally seeing how important this movie is to us.

A little qutoe from MTV's page..

"MTV: People are just now beginning to realize how big this "Twilight" thing is. "

"Lefevre: We are too. "

Unfortunatly we all know that the movie is going to pale in comparison to the books. Movies always do, with a tiny exception to the HP films. They have been the closest to the original books a movie has ever been.

I must say it's great that Stephenie has such passionate fans and though some can be a tiny bit out spoken and down right insane, me inculded. When it comes down to it we just want what's best for the books and the movie(s).

Genoa Keawe

"Aunty Genoa"

October 31, 1918 - February 25, 2008

Aunty Genoa, this is how she was known by many. Wether they were related or not everyone who came in cantact with her, loved her just the same. From Hawaii to Japan, she entertained many.
I was fortunate to call her Grandma, even though there is no blood relation. My mother adopted her as a mom, long before I was even a breath from my mothers lips. They had a special relationship as hanai mother/daughter and also with music. It was a passion and gift to both of them.

I feel so lucky that I was honored in this life to have known Genoa Keawe. I remember visiting her home in Papakolea when I was a young girl. She used to wake us each morning singing hawaiian mele's with so much nahenahe. She always made you smile and always embraced you with true aloha.

I will miss you're charming smile, you're sweet voice, and the warmth of your spirit...

Aloha oe, Tutu

British Boys Rock....

British Boys Rock!!!

So my friends might say I am a bit obsessed with all things British...and the men are no exception. In fact we are planning our first girls holiday this fall to London and I am hoping to catch a glimpse of one of my favorite British hotties!

Henry Cavill

(here's a pic so you can fully appreciate his greatness!)

I found Henry about a year ago. Thanks to one of my favortie authors Stephenie Meyer...she is a whole other blog completley. After discovering him I have watched and purchased all his movies available.

Here is my list to date:

1. The Count of Monte Cristo
2. I Capture the Castle
3. Red Riding Hood ( Yes I know...)
4. Hellraiser. Hellworld
5. Tristan+Isolde
6. Stardust
7. The Tudors season one (a must see...you'll know what I mean when you see the first episode)

8. Towncreek ( I am ecstatically waiting for this to come out)

He has it all good looks, talent, the voice and accent, and don't forget his uncanny likeness of a Greek God. (I can see it can you???)

Which brings me to the sad truth that he will not be my Vampire in Sparkling Armor in the new and upcoming film "Twilight".

I was so bummed when I found out he turned down the script but I want him to know if he ever stumbles upon my ramblings that, "Henry! You will always be my Edward!", in a non-stalkerish crazy person sort of way.

Now that we have established my favorite Brit! Here are a few others...

Wentworth Miller

Colin Firth

Matthew Mcfadyen

James McAvoy (okay so he's Scottish...but I still love him!)

Enjoy the beauty!!!
